This week, we have been chatting all about pancakes! The children are extremely excited about 'Pancake Tuesday' which takes place next Tuesday the 13th of February. As we will be off school next week, we decided to practice making some fluffy pancakes in school. We chatted about the ingredients and utensils needed to make pancakes successfully. Together, we followed 'step by step' instructions to make yummy pancakes correctly. When the pancakes were cooked, we selected our favourite toppings and ate our pancakes with our friends. We engaged in some instruction writing following this. Well done boys and girls - I cant wait to hear about all the perfect pancakes you make next week! :-)
