Orienteering
15th Jun 2016
On Friday 10th June the two Primary 6 classes travelled to Gosford Forest Park for a day of orienteering. The activity was organized as part of our Extended Schools programme, and was led by several experienced guides. In the morning the children learned how to use a map and compass to find their way around the forest. After lunch the children were split into groups, and set a challenge to find thirteen different secret locations in the forest. The winning team completed the challenge in an amazing thirty minutes, just one minute outside the record! Everyone found their way back safely to the bus in time for the journey home, and all enjoyed the experience.
