Our nursery children had an incredible time travelling by bus to Warrenpoint to visit Fort Evergreen. We had the opportunity to meet friendly farm animals, hop aboard thrilling tractor and trailer rides and explore a Dinosaur Dig.
Here are some highlights of our adventure….
The outdoor park and sand pit were a hit with our little adventurers. They climbed, slid, and dug for buried treasures!
To escape the heat, we ventured indoors to the soft play area which was filled with slides, tunnels and ball pits.
The children eagerly unpacked their lunchboxes filled with yummy treats, fuelling up for more fun activities ahead.
Last but not least, our nursery explorers came face-to-face with gigantic dinosaur replicas. Roaring with excitement, they marvelled at these prehistoric giants!
This trip was a fantastic way to conclude our dinosaur topic! It brought to life everything our children had learned about dinosaurs— from fossils and excavation to outdoor exploration and imaginative play.
As we headed back to school, our tired but happy children snuggled up on the bus and some sleepy little heads even nodded off.
After such an action-packed day, we anticipate that our little explorers will be tired and ready for bed a little earlier tonight.
