This week, we have been learning about money and it's importance as a medium for exchange of goods. Our lessons during the week, focused on learning about the 1p coin. We had the opportunity to touch and feel a 1p coin. We explored the images engraved onto the coin, its colour and shape. The children had opportunities to count 1p coins and towards the end of the week, we had our very own sweet shop in the classroom. Look at us counting out our 1p coins to purchase a treat from our friendly checkout operators! :-)
