Maths Week P3
18th Oct 2019
Primary 3 pupils had a great time doing Smartie Maths for Maths Week. The children estimated how many Smarties were in the box before opening it. Next they sorted the sweets and created a tally. They made a real-life graph with the Smarties and then completed their graphs. Mr Mackin heard about this fun maths challenge and came into the Primary 3 classroom to ask the children some questions about what they were learning. This was an especially fun challenge as the children were able to eat the sweets once the activity had been completed; Mr Mackin ate some of the sweets too!
