This week the children were getting creative with percussion instruments. They were using the instruments to represent the transition from winter into spring. We discussed the characteristics of winter and spring and what instruments we could use to represent these. The children then split into two groups - winter and spring and created a thunderstorm, followed by springtime, bringing sunshine, flowers and baby animals. The children had a great time using the various instruments and working together.
