Christmas Message from Mr Mackin
2nd Dec 2020
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
2020 has been a year like no other for our extended School family, a year dealing with lockdown and the global pandemic. Christmas in Saint Patrick’s has always been a time to reflect and say thanks for the year gone by, this year we are asking that instead of buying gifts for staff that you would consider purchasing vouchers or make a donation that we can give to our designated charity, Saint Vincent De Paul. Every year the charity locally, provides much needed support for the less fortunate in our community. As you can appreciate charities have suffered as a result of Covid-19 and this gesture on behalf of Saint Patrick’s Family will provide a lifeline for those in most need. If you wish to take part please send in a donation or a voucher with your child, from any of the local suppliers, which can be forwarded to SVDP for distribution.
As a school staff we really appreciate all the support you have given us during these very challenging times but the greatest gift you can give us is the gift and privilege of caring for your children. I trust you will understand why we have chosen this course of action.
Kind Regards
Ciarán Mackin
