This week the pupils in Primary 2 have been exploring 2D shapes.
They were able to name 2-D shapes and discuss their properties, including their number of sides and corners and whether their sides are curved or straight. They also consider the differences between rectangles and squares and are introduced to the idea of squares as a special type of rectangle.
